Even today there are many Scholars who insist that women should neither learn the Vedas nor even listen to Vedic Chantings. Acharyasri Rajesh established quoting mantras from Vedas, that women can learn and they should learn Vedas. One among the mantras which says that vedas should be learnt by all human beings including woman.
During Makha Mahotsavam more than hundred female disciples performed Agnihotra on the banks of Nila (Bharathapuzha) River.

PRAJNANAM BRAHMA

April 3rd 2016 marked a historic event in the land of kerala. Acharyasri Rajesh organized the “sammelan” of all vedic followers in kerala naming it “Prajnanam Brahma”. Acharyasri made the historic proclamation of “Vedasto the humanity irrespective of caste creed or gender”. Nearly 1 lakh people in the ground pledged (took oath)to take Vedic studies to the nook and corner of kerala. In the event of ‘Prajnanam Brahma’, more than 1.5 lakhs of people leading a Vedic way of Life gathered upholding the Slogan “God is knowledge, Knowledge for all”. The proclamation “Right on Vedas” was made by Acharyasri Rajesh in this mega event, in which he declared to the world that everyone has right to learn Vedas and Observe vedic rituals without any discrimination of caste or religion. For the first time in the history of Kerala, a woman was declared as the Vedic priest and Nearly 2500 women chanted Veda mantras

VEDA SAPTAHA

The chanting of all the Vedas from beginning to end has been prevalent all over Bharath aeons ago. Vedas ,the repositories of knowledge is recited in such a manner so as to preserve and protect them. In Kerala, this tradition of chanting is called Murajapa. This tradition of chanting Veda mantras was given much importance ages back and was performed in Sri Pad manabhaswamy Temple, Trivandrum and many other temples in Kerala. Murahoma is performed accordance to the mantras that are chanted during Murajapam. The performance of Homa with continuous chanting of the Veda mantras to promote all round good health and prosperity with a feeling of harmonious well being of the world.
