The greatest achievements in human history often stem from humble beginnings. Success is the result of thoughtful planning and unwavering determination.

Acharyasri Rajesh deeply felt the urgent need to reunite and rejuvenate Hinduism in alignment with modern perspectives and to revive the essence of Hindu ideology. At the outset of this challenging journey, his only resources were his inner bliss, boundless love and compassion for humanity, profound mastery of the holy scriptures, and his exceptional ability to integrate the wisdom of Indian Darshana.

The very first class began on 14th September 2003 in Balussery with just seven students. Over time, student enrollment steadily increased, prompting a shift to Calicut. By the following year, the number of students had grown significantly, marking the beginning of a journey that has continued to flourish without pause.

Veda maha Mandiram (Mahashay Dharampal MDH Veda Research Foundation) at Kakkodi

India, traditionally known as Bharat, is so called because it was considered the country of people immersed in ‘Bhas’ or the brilliance of knowledge. In bygone times, India was made the best nation in the world by ancient ‘Gurukula’ Vedic teaching centres that created versatile geniuses in the fields of personality development, fine arts, culture, education, social sciences, and economics. Thus, being the epicentre of cultural heritage drew the rest of the world to ancient India.

Veda Gurukul also offers residential learning to under-14 year-old celibates in original and undiluted Veda practices along with Sanskrit studies. According to Acharyashri Rajesh’s vision, Vedic scholars and practitioners trained and graduating from the Gurukul can continue the tradition by helping to establish complete Vedic Gurukula learning centres throughout Kerala, India and beyond our shores. Disciples of the Acharyasri conduct research in Vedas and the Six Darshanas. Even reputed foreign universities collaborate with the Foundation by utilizing the vast technical resources made available here to pursue Vedic studies. A digital library with an invaluable collection of thousands of rare books is just an example.

After witnessing the Veda prachar activities and being impressed by it, India’s “Spice-king”, the great businessman Mahashay Dharampal ji (Late) has made a beautiful Vedic Gurukul and research center, named Mahashay Dharampal MDH Veda Research Foundation, and donated to Acharyasri Rajesh.
